Scope of Practice (Texas)

Vivena Whole Health is a wellness education and health coaching practice operating in the state of Texas. We comply with applicable Texas state and local laws governing non-licensed wellness, nutrition education, and health coaching services.

Services provided by Vivena Whole Health are educational and informational in nature and are intended to support general wellness, lifestyle awareness, and functional nutrition education. Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Not a Licensed Healthcare Provider

Vivena Whole Health and its practitioners are not licensed medical doctors, physicians, dietitians, nutritionists, or other licensed healthcare providers under Texas law.

We do not:

  • Diagnose medical conditions

  • Prescribe medications or medical treatments

  • Provide medical nutrition therapy

  • Practice medicine, dietetics, or clinical nutrition as defined by Texas statutes

Any references to terms such as functional nutrition, holistic health, or similar concepts are used for educational purposes only and do not imply licensure or the practice of medicine.

Transparency and Client Information

Clients are fully informed about the nature, scope, and limitations of services provided by Vivena Whole Health. All services are provided with an emphasis on education, lifestyle factors, and self-directed wellness choices.

When laboratory testing is discussed or reviewed, such testing is obtained either through direct-to-consumer laboratory services or through third-party medical provider programs where applicable. Vivena Whole Health does not diagnose or treat conditions based on laboratory data.

Supplements, Protocols, and Self-Directed Care

Any discussions of supplements, nutrition strategies, or wellness protocols are educational only. Clients understand and acknowledge that they are engaging in self-directed care.

Clients are strongly encouraged to:

  • Share all lab results and wellness plans with their licensed healthcare provider

  • Consult their physician or qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medications or supplements

Vivena Whole Health does not instruct clients to discontinue prescribed medications or replace medical care.

Telehealth and Texas Regulations

Vivena Whole Health may offer services via remote or telehealth-style communication (e.g., phone or video calls). All services are provided within the scope of practice permitted under Texas law for non-licensed wellness practitioners.

Certain laboratory tests or services may be restricted based on state regulations, and Vivena Whole Health will not facilitate or ship laboratory testing where prohibited by law.
